Joe Desimone’s story is the definition of the American Dream.

After immigrating to America from Italy in 1961, he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. After returning home from service, Joseph began working for Many Co. doing piece work. In a few short years, Joseph apprenticed with some of the best leaders in the garment industry and quickly became a known for his commitment to excellence.

In 1978, he started his own business, All Racks Industries. In the 40 plus years since, he has acquired several other businesses in the garment industry, including Ted Steel Industries, Neeman & Mayer, Kay Pipes & Shelves, H.T.S. Racks, and Sunny Steel Equipment. He has provided services to fashion designers around the world as well as movie and theater productions.

Joseph is one of a dying breed, the only man currently operating in New York city area hand-crafting custom garment racks. His life work can be seen in stores across Manhattan and and around the world. His contributions to the garment industry are unparalleled.
